My first real world "contact" was hanging out in Dave Johnson's studio, in the mid-late '90s, when Alex sent a customized action figure in Dave's likeness. Hilarious. Till then, he was an esoteric personality who painted amazing comics. Happy Birthday, other Alex.
One of the best and great guy. Love his work as well.
