@D162Michele It's more a monument to how easily they believe in lies. Story of soldiers being sent to massacre students at the square, was never true. They let all those students go because they weren't a threat. It was just the mob that firebombed tanks and police, that triggered fighting.

@Angelina1828 Should really thank China for making themselves accountable for their own rubbish and not find it that easy to dump. Was only after China stopped collecting & landfills were piling up, Aussie grocery chains then forced patrons to use reusable bags, instead of single use plastic.

@JonDoe245830 @ZChukieZ @AndyBxxx @PaulHuangReport China's territorial Waters go 22 KMs from their shores. So it overlaps with Kinmen which it recognise as belonging to them. U should be thankful they haven't taken it by force and only sent water police to prevent any more incidents of Taiwanese ships sinking mainland fishermen.

@burprapier @microchiplayout @thinking_panda You do realise that has been long debunked in the Economist?🙄 That claim was misleading as it divides combined income of earners and dependants. Also a low income buys far more stuff and a higher quality of life in rural China than it does in the west.

@thisischaniece Key theme of her songs are about breakups and complaining about them. That's not really empowerment. It's more just journalism doing PR for her and making her seem bigger than she really is. She is not actually helping create meaningful messages to women to grow their character.

@SellarsFanatic @rawbloodenjoyer Tarim mummies came from a isolated tribe faraway from the centre of Chinese empire. There's always a group of mixed Asians just outside the frontier of ancient China. Just coz they were buried there, it doesn't now mean they were strong enough to go further east and take over.

@michaelxpettis Good news for the young generation that wants to buy houses later. Apartments in Suzhou was starting to look like Shanghai at previous rates. And hopefully lower prices equates to housing affordability.

@CIA_in_China What's illuminating is the comments. A lot of hate messages like trying to attack an entire Chinese people. It shows the true colours of those who spout racist comments, that this is who they are. Like solid 80 percent is just raw hate speech on all the Chinese people.

@Portello16 @thumbelulu And don't pretend that your comment wasn't prejudiced. It's the exact same spirit as the xenophobic vibes towards hispanic immigrants coming to the states and getting mad at them for not knowing English, despite it's hard for them. So don't double down on a place of hate. 😼🤡

@yannis_silnyy @ChinaWestWatch1 @HaraldinChina @Engineer_Psych The concept first developed in China. 😅 You can improve on it but it's not the same as inventing it. Otherwise you might as well claim China invented nuclear power as they have the world's first 4th gen nuclear reactor that's a significant improvement over the original one. 😂

@accidentalflyer @MrJerryGoode If USA was really strong, they wouldn't need to resort to protectionism. It's because their car industry is in trouble and not in good shape to compete with Chinese EVs, that they are resorting to loser tactics.

@BRICbreaker @SariArhoHavren It's a bag of double speak crazy. It's like hearing Republicans say Covid is fake while also simultaneously saying it's a Chinese bioweapon. They both can't be true. Here, they are saying China is weak while also exerting a lot of effort to contain the so called weak China lol

@BuidlerExpos @8BB8B8 @Byron_Wan @p0ACSctjyPBjYBQ I am not a nationalist and have my quips with China but am under no illusion to deny that many Chinese are patriotic. And you can't claim any patriotic Chinese is the gov. It's not reality. But I think this discussion is going to a crazy spiral so will end it here.

@misosoop511 @KoutureMag @thinking_panda 🐼 never claimed it was comparing with United States including Alaska. He is comparing with contiguous United States. And ironically you are posting inaccurate information here. China's overall size is indeed larger than the entirety of United States. 🙄

@ChefMiew @WatariKai2024 @rue_du_four @YouTube Also only 46.3 million out of 1.4 billion have formal sector jobs, with only half paying taxes. It limits the gov's ability to invest heavily in developing its people at the scale China does, hindering India's potential to become the next economic China.

@burprapier @thinking_panda Yeah right. 😂 Everyone knows that a large number of westerners believe it's real and it's Chinese who lives in China, who laughs at that. After you realise it's a myth, you then pretend it's just a joke despite if anything, it's mocking westerners for not understanding China.

@ron_arnhard @Chinaloverguy @mariocavolo @MrJerryGoode I don't understand those that enjoys hurting animals like that. It's not even a cultural thing but more a pathological sadism thing. No animal should go through that even if they are to be food. I agree those that do that, needs to be dealt with and not get away with it.

@Angelina1828 Rice is good. Easy to digest. Though prob important to pair rice with some protein and fat, and not eat it on its own, to help avoid blood sugar spikes. Good tip is adding coconut oil while boiling, then cool it to convert half to resistant starch & cut calories and GI levels.

@ChefMiew @WatariKai2024 @rue_du_four @YouTube Indians appear very optimistic tho their optimism seems unfounded to me. Bureaucratic red tapes, infrastructure limitations and insufficient investment in education and skills development are likely to hold India back from being the next economic China.

@ToshCooey @thinking_panda First ice sculptures are not really attributed to any one individual or country. Various cultures had embraced it long ago and not just exclusively in the west. But Harbin is considered to be the first and largest ice festival globally that started the trend in 1963.

@TaiwanSpecial @BLJapanTaiwan I say "Happy Chinese New Year & Lunar New Year". As I have a right for cultural identity and share my culture with others plus acknowledge others celebrating their versions. And no reasons to be pressured to not use the word, "Chinese" under Political guise for "inclusivity".
