What’s your take of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) in perimenopausal (not post menopausal) women for primary CAD prevention? Recently started looking into data and results from trials like ELITE, EPAT and WELL-HART are promising but this time sensitive, individualized approach seems difficult to navigate. Very well said and written. As an early career interventional attending I must say there are great opportunities avaible to seek expert advice and mentorship.. all thanks to collaboration of leaders like you with ACC and SCAI ect. As you mentioned, we have widened scope of IC so much now.. particular in coronary world we are able to take care of many CTS turned down/high risk pts with our calcium modification techniques and MCS use. Definitely there is a lot of support from industry to help get used to these sophisticated techniques.. but do you think over the time these is been less incentive to join academic interventional force? And is it because of less available job opportunities in academic centers or mainly due to pay/incentives ? Thoughts on long term impact of that?
