I'm embarrassed to post this, but I have no other option. I need a technical writing job. After nearly two years and over 150 rejections, I'm struggling to survive.
I'm a fast learner and I'll take any opportunity, a junior role or internship.
Resume:
I recently dove into the world of
@fedora
. I'm not talking about the cowboy hat that would look cute on me. 🤭
I'm referring to the community-driven project that builds and maintains Fedora Linux. 💪
I wrote an article about it. Give it a read. 😄 👇
Recently, while diving into
@fedora
, I had a light bulb moment. Wondering how to simplify it, and since I love making complicated stuff easy to understand, I came up with 'Fedora Like I am 7.' 🧒🏻 Just wrote a proposal about it. Take a look! 👇
I just finished watching
#CaptivatingTheKing
K-drama and I am thrilled I did. The chemistry between the male and female leads is sizzling🔥,the acting is superb, and it has one of my favorite tropes. Plus, the dialogues had me blushing and kicking my feet in the air with delight.
I just published my first technical article “Google Chrome: A gentle guide for mobile users” using
@appwrite
site as a case study.
This is the first task from the technical writing mentorship program organized by
@TechnicalWriti6
&
@Joklinztech

Hello
@everyone
I hope you enjoyed your Christmas and Boxing Day; we have an assignment to keep you busy till January.
To understand the assignment, you need to know API documentation; if you don't, then watch these videos
Video 1:
1/1
I just built my first documentation site using MkDocs and successfully deployed it to GitHub. Though it took me a while to wrap it up, I am thrilled with both the outcome and the learning journey it provided.
You can check it out here 👇👇
I Just completed Postman API course. It was a challenging experience that taught me how essential paying attention to detail is.
I am excited to do more with APIS.
I just published an article on the software development life cycle (SDLC) on
@hashnode
. Writing this article helped me understand SDLC. It is a gentle introduction that covers the basics of software development.
Finally, I have done all I can and nothing worked. I didn't know I could hit something below rock bottom.
I didn't think I would get to this point in my life where ALL will fail. But here I am. My spirit is broken.
I just published an article titled: Demystifying APIs: A Beginner's Guide to Understanding APIs
I hope this article helps simplify APIs and get you started on your journey into the world of APIs.
Exciting news—I have just finished my first Bitcoin course with Saylor Academy! and obtained a new certification: PRDV151: Bitcoin for Everybody. I now have a good grasp of how Bitcoin works and I am really fascinated by its cypherpunk roots. Cheers to me 🥂
@iamCynthiaPeter
I play chess. I can recommend an app that is helping me learn chess.
The app is called "Dr wolf chess app" it's on Google play. You can search if it's available on Apple store.
To my favorite baby boy,
@iamDavemarz
- on your birthday:
"I can dance with my eyes closed when I am with you and that’s not because you can dance, — 😉 it’s because I trust that you won’t let me fall and get hurt."
Happy Birthday, my love.🥂🥂🥂
@remoquete
I see. But since we are talking specifically about Tech writing. It should be DocRel since there are other types of writings.
Dev is strictly for all kinds of developers (especially in tech) so the name (DevRel) is fitting.
We can also use Docops instead of writeRel or DocRel.

Resume:
Building documentation site with Jekyll is easy to be honest. The challenge comes when I need to deploy it to GitHub pages. Some of the Jekyll themes are not compatible with GitHub.
I am trying to build another documentation site with Jekyll but it's giving me such a hard time. The documentation for Jekyll is not helping matters. I just want to lie down and cry 😭
Happy World Book Day! 📚

Hello
Concerning the assignment you gave, you instructed for Chrome and appwrite to be tagged mentioning that it is an assignment for your mentorship programme. Should I still tag them and do as instructed since I am not in your mentorship class?
Last night I prayed for wisdom and the ability to make a good judgment but here I am about to make a very bad decision. A bad decision I believed I would enjoy.
The bad decision in question is seating across from me at the VIP section of "Club Luxure"
What fascinates me about learning French, Spanish, and Italian is finding words that mean the same thing and sound similar. For example, "yes" is "sí" in both Spanish and Italian.
I can't wait to finally get a well paying job. I have been unemployed for almost 2 years. I can't wait to stop begging people for financial help to eat. I can't wait to afford my needs. I can't wait to not cry myself to sleep. ✨
1• That I didn't achieve anything this year.
2• That I was depressed for 11 months straight.
3• That I would have over 150 job rejection emails.
4• That I would cry myself to sleep almost every night.
5• That I would be unemployed.
