eh my mom bought my 1st/2nd car and i still think of it as a privilege. especially since i didn’t have to pay for anything (insurance included) that’s a huge privilege.

most definitely! i’m more than appreciative for my mom making things happen. even though the norm nowadays are for parents to buy their kids a car - i understand she didn’t have to do anything she didn’t want to.

i should’ve worded it differently. ig the norm is to make life easier for your kids and to do things for them they didn’t necessarily have while they were growing up 🤷🏽♀️ either way being gifted a car is more common now than it was before
