@buttonslives ruminating in the swamp of your trauma is definitely misguided… i think the point often missed is that you’re supposed to move THROUGH your emotions. leaving them to lurk seems problematic, it will find a way out, and that’s how maladaptive coping mechanisms get entrenched.

@Echecrates there’s a crucial difference in how you address a situation individually vs. institutionally. dei robs people of their humanity and places them in a pecking-order driven by hate and shame or glorified victimhood depending. deal with bad behaviour, don’t write people off as bad.
