i also had a binge while high w my best friend and it didn’t affect me like i thought it would 😭😭

one of my students brought me a slice of cake for christmas yesterday and i didn’t have the heart to say no 😭

@helplessdaze yes exactly ! and you want to tell them not to say that, and how inappropriate and damaging it is, but they don’t understand or really care. they use it like profanity honestly. like you said, it’s the most hurtful thing they can think of, but there’s so much actual worse things.

@helplessdaze i’ve heard it a lot w the bigger kids, which doesn’t make it any better at ALL obvi. what a way to mess w their psyche. i’ve gotten called fat a few times too, and it’s hurtful as an adult w an ed, so i can’t imagine a child who doesn’t have a full understanding of their emotions

also yes, i’m aware the vernacular comes from parenting and being online. and yes, she was antagonising him. i’ve been in this line of work for nearly 4 yrs, and have seen it all, but this just stumped me.

yesterday was a warm start to dec. twinkling fairy lights are already speckling the night skies. a day of pilates & hydration. curled up in bed with w a low cal taco bowl, covered in crisp, fresh sheets. let’s welcome the new month as an opportunity for growth.
