After almost a year of looking for a postdoc position I’m stopping here. I have to say…I am extremely disappointed of all the processes I participated. If +5 years of research experience and a PhD in the area of interest is not enough to get a position then what?.

It is normal to feel that you know nothing at the end of your PhD? I’m on my last year and I feel dumb because I still don’t master techniques and tools such as Golden Gate, R, bioinformatics, genomics, transcriptomics, CRISPR, and many others @OpenAcademics @PhD_Genie @PhDVoice.

However, I feel very optimistic about my future in the Industry. A PhD was a valuable experience that I will never regret, but it’s time to see the reality of how Academia is and move on. I’ve always been pro Academia so this is not easy.
