While individual mechanics on DPS do shine brighter than ever, the cost of this is a lower skilled game that is just a deathmatch. Overwatch is supposedly a competitive game according to director takes, so making the game significantly easier doesn't make
6v6 should not come back.
6v6 had a higher team-execution ceiling, but few people ever actually used it. Individual mechanics shine brighter than ever before in 5v5 and every player can make a difference without waiting for someone else to do their job first.

With this change and the new "director's take" it is very obvious blizzard has no intention of ow requiring any teamplay ever again. They want pure COD deathmatch and I believe we will see "quicker play" as the new standard in ranked and other game modes within the next seasons.

Role queue was added because they refused to nerf brig for a year. Mon-Fri, 9-5 for months. Also don't abandon your game for 2 years.

The tank role now has no passive. At this point Lucio's boop has been buffed so much the tank role is now passive-less. The tank passive didn't stop things like whip anyways.

5v5 is miserable for tank. We need 6v6 back. Counter picking is torture and the low skill ground tanks are king. The skill difference between tanks on heroes like Ramattra and Orisa is little to none.

The 4 DPS issue did happen some games, but it is over exaggeration and cope. People swear it was "every game" and 4/5DPS is why they couldn't climb. Both are untrue. Not every ranked game will be a good experience sadly.
