@AlexCaswen @SpencerFernando @ShadeenaX There is NOTHING to suggest that Bombardier was capable of producing such a fleet. They struggled to get Toronto new streetcars. Domestic defence industrial capability is important, but it can't just turn into another government slush fund to buy votes. Remember the Ross rifle?

@mattjohnstonca Or it could be like Ontario where the Libs eked out one more win after they switched leaders to Kathleen Wynn and then fell to pieces the next time.

@FrederickCorco2 @brianlilley yes, you're right. But I'll stick with my earlier comments. There are probably lots of things keeping people away from the forces -- obsolete equipment is probably foremost among them. Followed by the military's invisibility in Canada's three largest cities.

@FrederickCorco2 @brianlilley "Who wants to join an LGBT military?" Well, as recruiting is going quite well now, I'd say lots of people. Remember that, however uncomfortable LGBT makes you, young people don't have much of an issue with hit. And they, not we olds, are the recruit pool.

@stphnmaher My thought: He's converted the Liberals into Conservatives. But now that he has, there's no need for him.
