@dudelydudeson @marketplunger1 I like Chile too. Election coming up will be positive for Chilean assets

@kiwicarrotcake They issued debt at 1.8% interest to buy the nuts biz from $KHC. Good deal, imo. Why wouldn't you lever a bit when interest rates were at zero? I know no one will ever eat nuts again because GLP-1, but reasoning was sound at the time.

@TidefallCapital @bizalmanac $BUR is Fintwit's favorite Argentine idea, also the only one that has gone down since Milei was elected. Seems easier to me to buy something like the Argie airports at 6x EV/EBITDA. Fwiw (not much, I'm no legal expert) would guess this ultimately works but lot of brain damage.

@lebron_ex Argentine local stocks like the banks have pulled back 15% this month. $CAAP will move over $20 for good once the Argy correction ends.

@shaxmatist @Aureliusltd28 If long-end rates go down it's probably because the economy slowed down in which case $CBL's retailers will shut a sizable chunk of their stores. Same center NOI already down 2% y-o-y last q in a good economy. And if rates don't go down, well then, no rerating from that either

@Aureliusltd28 Out of their top 25 tenants, which ones will be bigger in 5-10 years and which will be smaller? And their top 5 markets: St Louis Chattanooga Laredo Lexington Greensboro Comparing it to $SPG is silly.

@k_nole11 @Aureliusltd28 $SPG spun off Washington (Sub)Prime Group $WPG as its garbage barge of bad malls a decade ago. It went bankrupt. Its average portfolio quality was (slightly) higher than $CBL.

@CCM_Brett 37% international traffic growth at Monterrey, the flagship airport in $OMAB's portfolio. I don't know about you, but I like 37% growth rates on the highest-value portion of the biz.

@chipflare I was told there would be huge pricing power in... checks notes... mortgage underwriting.

@AsiaEconInfo The "f" word is a harsh one, but I'd certainly say it's an unorthodox portfolio decision if nothing else.

@gvtcontractor Up to $6999 per month no issues, yoy can transfer over that but have to show your account in Colombia plus three months of statements from your foreign transfer account. Davivienda lets you pull 8mn a day probably easiest if you have time
