Independent pharmacists need to make a living wage, idiots, opposing this bill think we are charities
According to this article @NFIB is opposed to legislation to ensure community pharmacies are reimbursed fairly & savings are passed on to the customer. Is this true?! If so, I hope all Indy pharmacies take notice.

@ FTc @elonmusk Rebates from drug wholesalers are a big scam. They overcharge you upfront, then give you back some after 45 days. We are funding their businesses, but they do not work with us. I wish we could collect upfront from our customers, won't stress over bills

I'll guarantee you, wholesalers do not lose money on Brand name drugs like pharmacies do.
Generic compliance is a scam. Wholesalers claim they don't make money on brands. Bull fucking shit. They can just gouge us more on the generics. And boy do they do that. Brands are getting more expensive and generic reimbursement is minimal. Lose lose.

We are all short this month. are PBMs holding back payments, yes we are getting bits and pieces. Their intention is to put undies out of business, so they can take over. Optum started opening mail order pharmacies in more states now, won't be long before they have retail too,
This is how short I am paying drug bill(s) due Monday 2/10/25. I have no available savings ($100,000 drained in 2024) nor LOC left ($40,000)! @Walgreens in my town is closing 2/25/25. I’ve received numerous transfers. We did over 1600 prescriptions last week, average of 300 per day. The only other pharmacy in town busier than me is @cvspharmacy and @Walmart. So, I’m doing the business. This is in addition to being the only HME/DME provider in 30 miles. My salary is $50/hr. I have no large personal expenses being funded by my business (no boat, no RV, no airplane, no second home). My wife and I have 1 house. 1 child. 1 dog. A 5 year old Ford Explorer, a 10 year old GMC Sierra, and a 16 year old GMC Sierra. I have been a pharmacist for 20 years, so no school loans either. What’s the problem: @CencoraGlobal Pricing? Elevate PSAO reconciliation? Everyone letting PBMs racketeer? @OptumRx I hate you @CVSHealth I hate you @ExpressScripts I hate you @Humana I hate that you under pay over $30 on some Part D brands. I hope I can stay in business long enough to see @GOPoversight @OversightDems @RobertKennedyJr @HHSGov regulate PBMs out of existence

We have this old formula that you pay your major wholesale bi-weekly, but PBMs do not pay pharmacies within this period. Can we get net 30 days? Major Drug Wholesalers have most inventory on consignment, yet they will not help their customers
@InsOligopoly @Walgreens I'm sorry 😥 I did the math for my biz and am coming up short abt the same amt. What is going on? Are PBMs delaying reimbursement? And it doesn't help that every patient on an expensive drug needs refill it right b4 the 15th and 31st. Trying to hang on for PBM reform #DOGE

Stop hospitals getting the 340b perks, they are opening speciality pharmacies, using this loophole to get government subsidies yet they sell their drugs at retail prices. Making $$$, Investigate them now

Major PSAOs are all owned by the largest drug wholesalers. This is an additional revenue for them, they have no obligation to make sure their member pharmacies are profitable, as long as they get their monthly premiums, 5500 members average, guaranteed revenue for nothing

Elevate caved to Optum’s arbitration clause. They are forcing their pharmacies to arbitrate all current AND past disputes. Elevate pharmacies must notify Optum BEFORE APRIL 1 that it has a dispute in order to preserve their right to go to court. Please reach out to everyone and let them know!

We don need these community health centers, such a waste of money, whereas they can go to a regular Doctor or pharmacy. They are poorly run, and a lot of waste. Same for the VA system. Integrate them
Yet another reason why we need community pharmacies to stay open. FQHCs are not a viable alternative for the undeserved.

@elonmusk Hey Elon, when you going after the IRS, under the past administration they came after small businesses that got behind during Covid and added layers of penalties, so much so that many businesses closed.. They didn't care that small businesses help feed so many mouths

Drug wholesalers should be investigated for price gouging during drug shortages. They charge pharmacies astronomical amounts when an alternative manufacturer is available. Pharmacies do not get reimbursed more, losing money to take care of it patients
I am stuck between a wholesaler &PBMs, both beholden to their stockholder while I am beholden to my community. Generic Tamiflu on short supply as we have massive outbreaks. Wholesaler only has most expensive MFG in stock & PBM underpays it by 80%. Criminal @FTC @RepAuchincloss
