Senate Bill 93 - The Patient Access Bill addresses anti-competitive, anti- consumer practices used by PBMs. Patients need access to their community pharmacy; access threatened by these unchecked corporations. Let’s make it stop. Let your lawmakers know that you support SB93.

SB93, the Patient Access bill was introduced in the AL Senate today. PBMs & big business interests will do all they can to kill it, just as before, so your help is critical. The bill will benefit every Alabamian. Contact legislators & mobilize everyone. We are stronger together!

You will be told a lot of falsehoods about this bill. The biggest one is that it is a prescription tax. It is NOT. This bill prohibits PBMs from passing cost on to you. It also allows your pharmacist to openly talk w/you about cost & payment options. Something they can't do now.

The term PBM has been in the news and discussed among lawmakers a lot lately. They are multi-$B corporations that control 80% of US prescriptions. They are causing the loss of community pharmacies and don’t take care of one patient yet make life altering decisions for them.
