This thread is so true. The main reason Stratbase has been kinda quiet on the new features front is because I'm making changes to the database in preparation for some bigger features I want to add this year. While Stratbase doesn't have nearly the volume of data Fathom does and isn't "extremely" popular (YET), these changes are still way harder to make because people are actively using the app (which is a great problem to have). It's the kind of work where if it goes well you won't even notice, but once it's done it makes it way easier for me to add super powerful new features. It's important it's done right. I'll delve a little deeper into the reasoning once it's done in a blog post.
Building new software is easy. I’ve rebuilt big, existing projects in a single week during Christmas. It’s modifying existing projects that’s hard. Especially when the software is extremely popular. Altering the data structure of 100 billion rows is no joke.
