Twins delivered safely this evening! Happened so fast, I was writing an article by my wife’s bedside (while she was napping) then they were here hours later. I am hoping for some kind of sleep tonight!
The time has finally come and the twins' due date is imminent 😅. I'm on paternity leave and will be pretty inactive on socials over the coming month or so as I adapt to the chaos of life with three children 🙏

Today I am conducting my most important interview, with my mum. She has dementia and I’ve admittedly been almost as in denial about it as she has. I don’t talk about it much but I’m told interviewing a patient with dementia can be a good thing to do. We’ll see.

Ecstatic to say I've been awarded a £2,000 grant by Santander Universities and Bournemouth University to help me hire freelance esports writers.

Ok I finally picked up Rainbow Six Siege and I’m really enjoying it. I am getting wrecked in most matches, but got MVP once (out of 6 or so games)! But I’m going to persevere and try to improve. Operators like Zofia and Ash who blow up the front door seem to be my style so far.

I wrote to my MP asking them what they think of esports and extending an invitation to learn more about it. No response. Wrote a letter about something else and heard back within weeks.

One website has stolen around 700 of my articles over an 18-month period now, and tonight I finally finished gathering and cross-checking every single URL and submitted a takedown notice to their web host. Hopefully it's enough to get something done!
I wish the laws around online copyright and article plagiarism were improved. I'm having to go through thousands of articles to make a spreadsheet to 'prove' what's being copied from my site. Tens of hours of work for the chance that the copied articles might be removed.
