Building human-centered LLMs requires moving beyond simple performance metrics. We introduce an LLM eval framework w/ 12 fine-grained skill sets, GPT-4 & human based evaluation methods, & comparison of SOTA LLMs on these dimensions. LLM eval is a great topic for NLP-HCI collabo.

We introduce FLASK🧪, a fine-grained evaluation based on skill sets! Even SOTA open-sourced LLMs such as LLaMA2 Chat 70B lag behind proprietary LLMs for some abilities. 🤯
