I think the assets expansion could be simplified by reducing ERC20s to their count of held tokens like it's done for NFTs. Together you'd see an address (or ENS), amount of NFTs/ERC20s/ETH.

ERC-6059 is not backwards compatible with existing ERC-721 contracts. It’ll be great for intentionally building new ecosystems, but ERC-6551 is designed to serve ANY collection.
I’d bet on interoperability and think ERC-6551 is more likely to become the more popular standard.

Certainly for higher risk actions like transacting, but there is no risk to users funds or other by just signing in.
If we’re trying to grow the web3 pie, we need to reach normal people where they are at. Education can happen elsewhere that doesn’t risk immediate churn.

Firstly, with a use case in mind, we choose a standard contract depending on uniqueness constraints (erc721/erc1155/erc20).
We'll wrap core token operations (mint, burn, upgrade) with an auth scheme that grants one or more addresses control, e.g. OZ's AccessControl.

What's missing is the ability to produce blockchain transactions to execute the mint on behalf of users.
We can level up our admin address by changing our signatures from EIP712 objects to real transactions, broadcast them to the mempool, and fill our address with gas.

This admin address is an obvious centralization risk and if its private key gets compromised, then anyone will be able to control the token.
To mitigate this risk, use

Still experimenting with fixed fee vs. %-based. Currently only fixed fee contracts are deployed and in use. It's also up to the community if they want to pay the fee or if they push it onto members to pay.
We also support gas-subsidization and fiat flows for more convenience!

Asking users to make a transaction with their wallet every time you want to give them something is a step backwards in UX.
