When my dad immigrated to Canada when he was 15, he didn't know how to read or write properly and phone calls/flights were expensive
So my grandad would send blank letters from Pak and he'd send blank letters back just to confirm everything was ok 😂
Letters my grandfather رحمه الله wrote to my grandmother and my dad (+siblings) while he was in the UK working and establishing a pathway for them to come to this country
Always read these now and then, puts things into perspective

Had iftar with a guy in Jeddah and he was on the same flight as me from 🇸🇦 to 🇮🇹
He parked his car at the airport and was planning on driving home to catch Eid Salah in 🇫🇷
So instead of waiting 8 hrs for my flight back to London, I joined him and drove 600km to his home town 😂

I remember when I was broke, decided to not take a loan to cover uni fees + struggled to find a job
