If someone or some conferences don't think that way I think it's a loss for them, and on similar reasons I avoid some of the conferences/speakers as well.

On the other hand if you want to share nuances using SonarQube, or hidden gems or personal exp using it, I as a reviewer would find it useful. And I believe a lot of the attendees

@vilojona @asm0di0 @DevoxxUK @_pitest @jbaruch We are all talking about the same thing 😁 We should just get out of the mindset of product, sales etc. If it is valuable and relevant the talk has a place.

@vilojona @asm0di0 @DevoxxUK @_pitest Quite the opposite I think, for example I would really be interested on a talk how someone migrated their on-prem infra to azure or aws and what they learned from there. Easily someone would think, ahh pitching hyperscalers here, but super interesting/relevant topic

@vilojona @asm0di0 @DevoxxUK @_pitest Everything is a sort of product pitch, free or not. So why not accept that fact and rather focus on talks sharing learning from own experiences or introduction to a new tech.

@asm0di0 @vilojona @DevoxxUK @_pitest I think it should not be the question of paid or free, tbh, nothing is free, you are somehow paying for everything. One should look at the learnings and originality of a talk rather than whether it is based on a paid or free tech.
