@HusseinKaraky Cannot believe it but the exact same weather this morning in Paris. Love the crisp winter air on a sunny day! Enjoy it!

@ruiqiwt @wendylwilson2 @CollinRugg Exactly. Not every Canadair is Canada's. Unless specified. I understand that some currently in use in LA area are Canada's. I just felt from the discussion there was confusion with the terminology.

@wendylwilson2 @CollinRugg Also, to avoid any confusion Canadair is the name of this type of aircraft. So when one talks about Canadairs it usually means to specify the plane, unless one determines they are Canada's. Even in my native language, we use the same word for this type of plane.

@shanerooks @adatarg All over Mediterranean this is a commonly used method. I'm from Croatia and our coast has many wildfires every summer. The only way we can keep it in check is with Canadairs that take up seawater to quench the fire.

Thank you immensely to @MF_Szalay, @der_bri, Blanka and Giacomo for working on this together. It was so nice to join forces again with my old lab mate @der_bri !

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me! Cells record past events and respond to future stimuli more efficiently by modulating 3D genome. Read it all and more in the new preprint from the #Cavallilab and my brilliant friend who led this fantastic work @flora_paldi
New preprint on #CellularMemory and #3Dgenome! Can cells remember their past? If so, how do they record prior events? To address this fundamental question, we disrupted the chromatin state balance of mESCs and looked to whether they can recover. (1/8)

@leashless As a person with a PhD whose friends are, for the most part, other PhDs, the only thing you need to have above average to earn a PhD is resilience, not IQ. Doesn't mean that many people aren't clever but it is the perseverance that gets you over the line.
