I’m not a React Native maximalist or someone who has a grudge against native development. I just think it’s unreasonable to pretend that Native dev is the land of no jank. The early days of Swift were painful and caused a lot of jank, as was the UI transition from iOS 6 to iOS 7.

Nope. Expo is great but it wasn’t a fit for us because we already had mobile build pipelines, strict vendor policies, lots of experienced mobile engineers and some native dependencies (price widget). Generally I think expo is best for early stage startups.
