This is just wrong. Someone's ability to coach or play hockey has nothing to do with their race, it has to do with how much they care and prepare. Also, there is no "tradition", everyone can play.

I always use Crosby as an example when teaching the arm motion of a shot. He often only uses his arms and core, wide stance, minimal weight transfer or load.
Sidney Crosby disguises his shot so well. He purposely doesn't load the puck for a harder shot, and what he gives up in shot power he makes up for in a deceptive/quick release. The result is the goalie is later to react, and the puck gets in the back of the net. (xxlaflammexx YT)

As a kid I dreamed of playing pro. Later I realized that all I really wanted was to play hockey and you don't need to be in the NHL to do that! Some kids quit because they "didnt make it". In my opinion the goal is to love the game, anything that comes out of that love is a bonus

My parents divorced when I was 7, money was an issue, they asked if I wanted to play hockey, I did but said no to save them money. We lived in a trailer for a summer, I thought we were camping. Ponds and streets were my rinks. No regrets, it shaped my life

Hockey parents, it's ok to take a break from hockey. Think quality, not quantity. We should be 100% focused on an activity while playing or practicing, but if that's ALL someone does, it's hard to maintain that focus.
