Sadly, we lost one of our own. Luke Grandjean (center), class of ‘14, unexpectedly passed away, leaving a hole in the hearts of all those that were fortunate enough to know him. Luke was a captain and star midfielder on the field and better young man off. Rest In Peace Luke.

Congratulations to Sean Kavanagh for becoming only the third player in the history of Ohio high school lacrosse to surpass 400 points! Sean joins Marek Tzagournis (Jerome, 2023) and Connor Buczek (St. Xavier, 2011) in the exclusive 400 point club!

Congratulations to Sean Kavanagh on becoming Ohio High School’s second all time leading scorer! Sean tallied 411 points (193 goals,218 assists) and for his career, averaged an amazing 7.09 pts/game. During his 3 seasons (Covid 2020), he helped lead the Vikings to a 48-10 record.

Congratulations to Austin England on his 523 career saves, third most in Ohio High School history! During 2023, Austin set a Hoover record, allowing only 4.3 goals/game! His career win percentage of 83% (48-10) and career 6.05 goals allowed/game are best ever for a Hoover goalie.
