This is me and my sister in about 1969. We lived near Bristol. Our parents used to take us to Eastville Market at the weekend. There was always a man there with some monkeys and he'd charge for pics with them. We called him monkey man. You don't see monkey men at markets now.

I'm English. And British. There is absolutely no way I will EVER sing the national anthem in future. It's not an ode to our country. It's an ode to the monarch. And I truly believe the monarch is working against the people of our country. He doesn't deserve ANY accolades.
Should we change the British National Anthem to the more positive, "Rule Brittania", rather than simping for Charles? God Save the Queen became irrelevant after she passed imo. So what's it to be...?
