Emergency crews are on scene of a structure fire on Green St and THIS has actually happened! Never park in front of hydrants, it costs time and hassle during ACTUAL fires!

Can you explain why 3 construction projects that require the closer of main traffic arteries were scheduled for the same weekend 2.5 weeks before Christmas?
Submitted: 102/118 Roundabout in Fall River a few min ago. I guess a larger truck dropped some of its load and all of a sudden a bunch of guys who were behind all got out of their vehicles and helped to clear the way! (Tks Katherine Cherry)

Halifax drivers seem to have trouble with this one. Lady tried to run me off the road tonight and she's not the first. So here's a tiny PSA.

: Way to go
@hfxtransit
! So much for social distancing. This is a pandemic and people need to get to work and you cut your services?? Should have more buses on routes during peak traffic hours to reduce the risk.

@hfxtraffic
. People coming off the highway into Lower Sackville are either stupid AF, oblivious or have no idea what this sign actually means. Either way they’re going to cause an accident and it’s their fault

: This is what a transfer based system looks like. 80 stopped at lights right before Cobequid Terminal. A bus pulls into and out of the terminal before anyone from the 80 can think of transferring. This happens regularly. 84, bus 1263

Spotted in Upper Tantallon this week, they were not joking. Old school road is terrible, feels like you're on a car test track going over a mogul test strips! (From /u/Aromatic-Ear-8514 Reddit)

The law hasn't changed: when a light turns red, stop! Been noticing more drivers go up to 4 cars through a just changed light which is dangerous and illegal. If you're in a hurry, MVAs & tickets take up a lot of time.

: I plow snow and I can honestly say parking ban is a joke. I have never seen a ticket on a vehicle, hell I’ve never seen a bylaw enforcement person around. I watch police drive pass dozens of parked cars and do nothing. No use having a law you don’t enforce
A blast from the past: A GM "Fishbowl" style bus from Halifax Transit in the 1980's rolled into Burnside Transit Centre today. For you newcomers, "Metro Transit" was what transit was called here years ago. Hopefully they'll keep it around. (Submitted)

Can't wait for the city to repaint the lines on Robie (Almon to Young) and on Young (Robie to Windsor). These lines are gone and the new lanes are dangerous without the lines. Wish they used durable, quality paint!
