Very disappointed with the Xbox t2 community today. Have lost (and will lose more after the season ends) good staff from the abuse towards staff. The fact that it puts this much of a toll on their mental from the abuse is disgusting. Stop tearing your community apart.

Just wanted to put this context here for people passing by. We sat down with the team and had the player they were accusing prove live they are legit.
The accusing team agrees now they were wrong. Let's put this matter behind us, no need to be rude to them.
CGL is a complete joke of an org. They let console players play in PC tournament who are well known ximmers on smurfs that obviously plug in xim and use mouse and keyboard with hard aimlock as soon as they go 2-0 down. Corrupt admins are their friends so won't stop it.

I think every new hero should be at least slightly OP at launch.
1. Get people to play the new hero
2. Find out what makes them strong right off the bat
Now you can argue where the line between crazy OP vs slightly is but I think leaning on the side of strong at launch is good

I hope everyone enjoyed the CGL Turkey Tussle Event.
A lot of people worked hard on it. It was our first OW 2 event AND our first PC event.
Not everything was perfect but I think it went pretty well. A lot of staff also stepped up when I get to go to a funeral last [cont]

tldr the admins changed the rules of the series mid series and what was supposed to be a first to 4 they made a first to 3 and immediately ended the game 3-0 when the other team had been beginning the process of a reverse sweep when it was 3-2.

Console career profiles have been broken since launch, there is also another one that drops frames massively that has also existed since launch. Only fix is to restart the game.

There really is nothing truly like it. The game isn't perfect by any means but I think we are going in a positive direction overall. Nothing can be worse than the 2 years of no updates, if I can survive that I can survive anything.

It's a great feeling to plan and execute events, but man do console overwatch events feel like everyone always wants to tear everything down in front of you for no good reason. It's really hardened me as a person and impossible to give out any form of trust.

If anything it will make more people come back. Cheaters in games naturally make people leave or quit the game, then the only people left are the ones you don't want.
If high elo console needs a proper reset then that's what it takes.

Yea like I don’t think the controller / console players mind not being able to play comp with PC players. We already can’t do that. But in casual modes there should be no reason to remove it. It makes me actively not want to play with friends on PC. (And I own a PC as well)

Thank you everyone for a wonderful 2023. We experimented with a lot of things on the CGL side this year, some successfully and some not but I think I can say we definitely improved on a lot of aspects this year.
The work never stops but i'm excited for what we can do in 2024

You are confusing two separate concepts. Equivalent rank in OW1 to OW2 are not the same skill wise because of the large increase in new players. What I posted is strictly the under the hood numbers comparison. Not a skill comparison.

Nah man it’s awful. Can’t even have a PC player spec a custom game without disabling AA for the whole lobby. Makes observing for tournaments a problem. Should really be input based for if you get it or not
