Weekend MARC service to Harper's Ferry and Frederick would be an incredible QOL improvement for the DMV and an economic boom for both communities. @mtamaryland make it happen. Double the weekend fare if need be. Weekday prices are more elastic yet this would be a success!
The @washingtonpost has on their *sponsored* IG story a post that promotes taking a MARC train to Harper’s Ferry for a “weekend getaway.” There is no MARC service on weekends to Harper’s Ferry, and you’d need to go on Friday, and come back Monday for this to even work…
