Even tho I live in TN & my son graduated from UT, I will always root for A&M. My cousin had Muscular Dystrophy & @rcslocum & Mike Sherman were so good to him. They made me an A&M fan for life no matter the sport. Gig ‘em!.

How about we stop shaming guys for having the guts to awkwardly approach a woman? We can’t complain that they won’t date/marry then humiliate them for clumsiness. I hope he improves & finds someone better than her.

@Cernovich The older I’ve gotten the more clearly I understand that all of God’s commandments & laws are for MY benefit, not His. He doesn’t want to be my top priority bc He’s an egomaniac, but bc He knows when I focus on Him, I am safe & secure. When I wander, I get lost & entangled.

@ZubyMusic My husband & I were married 9 mo after we started dating. In these 23 years we’ve had 5 kids. Just a couple of decades behind your parents. It’s simple, but not easy, to stay married. Be the best spouse you can be.

Everything is so casual. I don’t like it. Nobody gets dressed to go out. Almost every 20-something girl is in spandex shorts & bras looking like they just woke up & threw their hair up. Why not spend ten minutes making yourself presentable? (I’m old.).

My most prominent July 4th memory is when we went downtown for fireworks w the kids & on the way home one of them says, “Look! He’s petting her like a kitty!” I look into the car next to us & see a woman face down in the driver’s lap. We’re in standstill traffic w nowhere to go.

My aunt is dying. She told her daughter she thought she was going to see the Lord last Thu night but she’s still hanging on. There’s nothing more beautiful than a life well lived into old age surrounded by a family who loves you to pieces.

Yesterday I saw people posting pregnancy pictures. I don’t have many (that’s a regret) but it brought up a memory. After I had my first, my doctor told me my body was made to have babies. It’s an interesting thought these days. This was the day I delivered my fourth.😭

My husband was driving home tonight & saw really weird lights in a sequence rotating in a horizontal line. They would disappear one by one at the end. It was a clear sky. He said it’s the weirdest thing he’s ever seen. People were pulled over watching it. Lasted about 90 sec.

Can I brag on myself for a minute? I follow lawyers, writers, architects,& a variety of other smart people but I just ran out of caramel sauce & literally within 3 min made a fresh batch that is better than anything you can buy. And I don’t even know if you’re really a lawyer.

My senior is my kid with ❤️defects. There’ve been points in her life I realized I was too scared to have long term dreams for her. She’s been adamant abt no college but she changed her mind &found out last night that she’s accepted. Best day of her life so best day of mine, too.

My husband was sitting outside, deep in thought. He carries so much, so well. He never brings it home. He never takes stress out on us. He has the hardest job: to provide, protect, serve, care for, & love a family. I’m so thankful.

I never get hit on. I’m not complaining…I’m married, but even when I was single, I was always the friend, never the girlfriend. I went on a couple dates w one guy & he told his friend I was the type of girl you marry, not date. We didn’t go out again. 😂.
