Media Board decided to go back on its assurance earlier this year that our EIC would be involved in interviews. That means The Aggie has 0 direct say in the choosing of its own editor-in-chief.
All four Aggie EIC applicants are refusing an interview until our Campus Media Board obtains quorum. On top of this, as an autonomous, independent student newspaper, we should be able to choose our own EIC, and we call for a major reform of the selection process.
