Just had an unbelievable experience at Masjid Putrajaya. Experience the policing of my attire at a place where I'm supposed to worship God. Three guards stopped me from entering because apparently i dont tutup aurat. One even go to the extend of shouting the holy verses at me.

Learned from my sister's circle group that there are two types of metaphorical "heart diseases" in Islam. 1) jealously towards others' success and 2) the desire to gain validation/recognition from others. Must do our best to avoid both through purifying our hearts.

Apparently so many girls have experienced this. So sad Malaysia is at this state of moral policing. I just landed home yesterday so this experience irritates me a lot when mosques in Turkey, London, China and every other part of the world ive been to accepted me with open arms.

In hindsight: i think if they had told me it's protocols or masjid rules nicely, i'd obey and just leave the masjid and pray elsewhere. But they attacked me personally, my attire and my aurah in front of my mom and out in the open. To me that's so tak sopan of them.

This whole masjid putrajaya debacle is truly overwhelming. After spending 3 years abroad, all I ever wanted upon arrival was to visit a local mosque and pray. Ive not been to a masjid in Malaysia for over two years so i am heartbroken when it happened. But, let's just move on.

Yep but attention to 'premier' schools must not come at a cost of sidelining other schools. SBPs have lost its purpose when entrance is made easily accessible to rich kids via alumni networks. More Funding must be allocated to provide opportunities to non premier schools.
In many places, there are excellent premier schools that are rich in tradition & contribution. Should empower them (via a new governance framework incl alumni's roles & autonomy incentives) to unleash their true potentials to greater heights.
