@LoreAment Many of the old works are done using Mt genes, mainly a mix of COI, Cytb, 16S, and some times 12S.... that is good for relatively phylogenetically closer species. But for further away species extract some nuclear genes also such as Rhod, RAG1, RAG2, beta-actin, S7, 28S and ....
