@S4ngano You could maybe try a gel extraction using 6M sodium iodide to dissolve the agarose and cause the DNA to bind onto silica particles, such as ? ADB buffer from Zymo has sodium iodide in it according to the SDS sheet so it's probably something similar.

@theBentoLab Will try at some point "even more extreme" ways: - using the heat disipated by a car radiator - using one tea light - using somehow a magnifying glass and solar light - using the heat disipated by a motorbike exhaust - using a capped jar exposed to sun in the mid summer
