This goes for all you Greninja, Palu, Falco, Sheik, Wario, Mewtwo, Banjo, Hero, MK, and Joker mains as well. Many characters who have weird friction or dash-accel end up with disproportionately long dashwalks that are VERY abusable and offer lots of spacing diversity in footsies.

Also, anti-Chrom tip:
Chrom doesn't throw his sword up with the first hit of Aether, so you can slap him with any decent-sized move you want as he leaps up before the multihit at the top begins. He's lost his armor by this point but isn't protected by a thrown sword, so go nuts.

Input delay is almost always the result of the game engine and takes a lot of work to fix. Remember how monumental it was when SFV went from 8f native delay on PS4 to 6.5f? That actually took a lot of work rewriting shit on Capcom's end.

Being able to choose correctly at the character select screen is a SKILL. If you pick a bad character and they pick a top tier, and you lose due to the matchup, that's on you. You could've picked a character with a better matchup spread, but chose not to.
