It's been wild, but I think that's it for me. Expect my posting frequency on here to drop sharply. I'll keep an eye on things but it's a secondary platform for me now. Mastodon was already feeling like a better place to be, and Twitter's fate is sealed. @gsuberland@chaos.social

@ThatPeterHayes @NegEarthLights just checking my maths quickly: 3x MA3 full-size (20480) + 11 MA3 PU L (8192) + 8 MA3 PU M (4096) = 184320 parameters total; divide 512 and that's 360 universes not accounting for 16-bit stuff. is 330 a typo, or did I miss a detail somewhere? (a couple PUs as hot spares?)

@ThatPeterHayes @NegEarthLights Thanks for all the info - I've been binging your backstage posts for the last hour! Do you have any links to posts/details from production teams and other sources? Currently writing a blog post where I nerd out over all the fancy tech (those Ayrton Cobras! drool!)

@benjames171 No worries. Thanks for getting back to me though. Guess it's time to dig through Ghidra and figure it out myself :D Managed to find the VABs and the tracker data, and a good portion of the headers, just gotta figure out the actual synth part in between.

@aionescu any idea what the GuardMemcpyFunctionPointer field points to in the load configuration directory of PEs? my best guesses are that it relates to an MTE-enabled implementation of memcpy on ARM64 binaries, but I guess it could also be part of something XFG or CET related.

@Blaidan That was almost certainly the most intense and precise speedrun I've ever seen at a GDQ. My jaw was on the floor all the way through. Incredible run!

@f4grx I will not be deleting my account. I have active DPA SAR and GDPR requests open with Twitter's data team.

@boredpentester The other thing I've found useful is one of those little hotplates. I put a thermal pad sheet on top of it to act as a thermal interface (bottoms of boards are never flat enough to make good contact) then turn it up to 90-100C so my iron and hot air barely have to do any work.
