I wanted to try the 3-quill silhouette for Smash since Smash is 2D, and 4 quills looked messy from a side view. How do you guys feel about it? I know we hate Forces style quills but I do like the clear 3-quill side profile more than a messier 4-quill one.

Tbh I don't like most of Smash's idles to begin with, most of them feel pretty weak silhouette and body language wise. They're just not very strong or interesting to look at in many cases imo
I think Sonic's idle is especially bland. This is Smash vs my idle pose on the right
SSBU idle animation for Samus looks a little awkward IMO. Especially on my Samus model. I think I know why they don't have her keep her gun raised, but she looks kind of too relaxed in this position and not really ready for a fight.

I'm finally satisfied with the models and texture work on Sonic. Everything has been polished and looks how it should, and I redid most of the models to be higher poly. Redid most textures to be more clean, as well.

when it comes to the whole “eye and muzzle curve” debate, normally I’m neutral on the whole thing, but Smash 4 and Ultimate’s models are definitely one of the worst
