On Tuesday I went to an empty campground in Montana because it was the location of a fatal grizzly attack we covered on Tooth and Claw (my podcast). I saw a moose in the campground and went to take a short video of it…it ended up being a better video than I expected

Hey! I’m a biologist and this lion is definitely just trying to protect her cubs, not stalk prey! When they’re stalking you they’re trying to be as quiet as possible, not charging you in full view! She’s just a good mom.

We had over 2 million plays on Tooth and Claw Podcast last year. Pretty crazy to see our little wildlife podcast catch on and give a lot of people the education and confidence they need to recreate more outside. Feels really great and I’m looking forward to an even bigger 2023

Finished bear season in Yellowstone and left to spend a couple weeks in the Brazilian Pantanal doing some Jaguar guiding. Found four jaguars including this beautiful female that was hunting caiman

I sedate bears with 100mg of ketamine per 100 lbs. This man and Elijah McClain both got 500mg, the amount we’d give a 500 POUND BEAR. It’s an absolutely insane amount of ketamine to give to a person. These people are murderers.

Here’s a bear fact. In Utah we only have black bears (Ursus americanus) but black bears can be tons of different colors. Black, brown, blonde, white, blue, cinnamon etc. I’ve never seen an all black black bear in Utah. This pic is a brown black bear, not a brown bear. Confusing!

I’m in India and this guy who is a bit of a badass keeps coming over at night & bringing cobras he caught in people’s houses that day & making me do increasingly more terrifying things with them. Not totally sure why this is happening but I’m going with it.
