In many of the top wine producing regions of the world, it’s a recurring curse to be the vintage that follows a truly exceptional year like 2021, which in Sassicaia’s case produced a highly lauded 100 point wine. #finewinesafari

Few countries other than France produce genuinely ageworthy Sauvignon Blanc but South Africa is certainly one of them. This thrilling 2020 Estate Sauvignon from @KleinConstantia was simply delightful at 5 years old packed full of energy & freshness, gooseberry & fennel. 93+GSMW

The wider Bordeaux market might be on its proverbial knees in this slow fine wine market but that’s more a symptom of unrealistic EP release prices & not the wines’ innate quality & overall consumer popularity, both of which remain high. #finewinesafari
