I've said it before, but I think this is the most fascinating account on Twitter. Literally every post, I find myself staring at for minutes. Just extraordinary.
You won't find many original colour shots of people born in the 1840s, so this early colour photograph from 1903 is remarkable. It shows Rear Admiral William Acland (1847-1924) & was taken by his sister Sarah 117 years ago using the Sanger Shepherd process. (It's not colourised)
