Humanitarian at heart, driven by a passion for truth and justice. Dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering a more compassionate, equitable world.
@AaronBastani
We are trapped in a vicious cycle of corruption, necessitating a fundamental change. A written constitution and system, grounded in democratic principles, are imperative. Private donations must be eliminated, and our parties should be publicly funded.
@EuropeanPowell
Brexit is a crime scene, where those responsible must face the most dire of personal consequences.
Without consequences, nothing will change.
@JolyonMaugham
And let’s not forget, by refusing to investigate these self-evident frauds. The Commissioners of the MET and SFO are also complicit, in the covering up of these serious frauds against the people.
@carolvorders
Essential public utilities should be nationalised. No private corporation should ever have the power to extort or blackmail the public. This is a matter of national security; no entity should be able to hold the nation hostage. End of.
@MarinaPurkiss
The Tory’s have no sense of honour, competence, loyalty or justice. What is more, the Tory’s offer no freedom, faith or hope. The people should make a stand, before it’s too late.
@PeterStefanovi2
The whole system stinks!
We need a written constitution, which puts citizens first and reigns supreme in law. End of.
That would drive a stake through the heart of all this political, judicial, media and corporate corruption.
Democracies are breaking down because big money has taken over. To combat that, we must have finance reform, increased transparency and disclosure requirements for political donations, and limits on the amount of money that can be donated to political campaigns.
@DanielPriestley
You are mistaken, or misdirecting. We are talking about increasing taxes on the very rich £10m+ and closing tax loopholes that enable asset relocation. We need the wealth they effectively extorted from us, back. We can then invest in public services and reduce taxes for everyone
In a democracy, all elections must be held in a free and fair manner. Therefore, the Brexit vote must be invalid. Simply because, the leave campaign, knowingly LIED to the people. And not for any righteous, or patriotic reason. 1/7
@RichardJMurphy
The scant coverage of protests by mainstream media reveals its bias towards the interests of the elite and political class, rather than the public. To ensure transparency and prevent censorship, we must now regulate MSM to demand truthful reporting.
@carolvorders
The Tory’s have been busy transferring public funds (and assets) to the private sector. Soon there will be no public wealth to speak of. What then? We will be forever on the hook.
@implausibleblog
The banks caused the 2008 financial crisis through their mismanagement of debt. They were then bailed out by the government using taxpayer money, and now they are making record profits. That debt is for the banks to repay, not the people. Giving bankers tax breaks is absurd.
@UKdemocrat
The system we have is a criminals wet dream. Those in high office must be subject to rigorous oversight and accountability mechanisms to ensure that they are acting in the best interests of the public and not abusing their power.
@carolvorders
@RussellScott1
Public officials who resort to blind trusts to obscure their financial dealings raise serious ethical concerns and should be barred from positions of power.
@DeborahMeaden
@NobleDigger
Millions sacrificed their lives, so we can live in a democracy. So anyone that tries to take that away, is a declaration of war against the people.
@BeckettUnite
@castoraj
I imagine they also claim the £4.52 on expenses along with beer, wine, champagne and parties. It’s no wonder they are detached from reality.
@BGatesIsaPyscho
It’s hard to fathom, how ordinary people can be so knowingly or unknowingly evil. They are no different the Nazi enablers, the bureaucrats, doctors, judges and guards etc.
@carolvorders
Brexit was a disaster, making the UK more subservient to corporations and the elite. Cameron is responsible, as he knew about Cambridge Analytica and didn't require a supermajority or equal media coverage.
@maitlis
Thing is, a criminal network has taken over politics, bound by a shared interest in survival and enrichment, leading to corruption, abuse of power and a disregard for the public interest.
@Eyeswideopen69
@EuropeanPowell
The Brexiteers promised to match or better EU funding and human rights. Instead, we have seen a decrease in funding for public services, a weakening of human rights protections, an increase in economic uncertainty, and a rise in social division. All the while, the rich get richer
@wideawake_media
We were raised in the UK to believe in democracy and meritocracy. We trusted that those in power would prioritise our best interests. Yet, the harsh reality is the opposite. This betrayal of the people is unforgivable.
@carolvorders
@RachelReevesMP
The glaring disparity in our justice system is undeniable. The rich get away with crimes that would land ordinary people in jail for years, if not life. We deserve to feel safe, and that requires a complete overhaul of the system to ensure equal application of the law for all.
@ai_clayton
That’s what bugs me, the quiet complicity of those all around. Evidently, our system doesn’t serve the people, it serves money. If we want a decent country, we must have constitutional reform, to kick out all of the corruption that has crippled it.
@horton_official
@DefraGovUK
@theresecoffey
In a democracy, MPS should be accountable to the people they represent. That means they should not be able to pick and choose who they allow to question them. This is essential for transparency and trust in our government.
@carolvorders
@GreenJennyJones
We need serious regulators and serious regulations to ensure that our public services sector is accountable, efficient, and effective.
@JolyonMaugham
Reporting on financial scandals and accusations of misconduct before the general election is crucial. Voters deserve to know who they're electing, and what potential liabilities they bring to the office.
@Picss3o
The beneficiaries of corruption remain largely insulated from the devastating consequences of their actions, attributing the hardships of their victims to personal failings rather than acknowledging the systemic injustices they perpetuate.
@RichardDawkins
@facebook
Evidently the New World Order includes the censorship of facts, truth and opinions that do not fit with their narrative. It’s a curious irony that politicians and mainstream media, two of the primary sources of misinformation, have taken it upon themselves to define what
@davesumnersmith
We can expect to see a surge in civil unrest across all segments of society as a result of the dire economic conditions. This crisis has been precipitated by a decade of government policies and a persistent, misleading narrative that blames others for the situation.
@MarinaPurkiss
Further proof, that Brexit was a pre-meditated act of economic fraud. It is for people to decide on what type of society they want to live in. Not them. Furthermore government, is ruled by public consent. The public have never consented to the privatisation of the NHS.
@JolyonMaugham
It's absurd that private donations fund our political parties, giving wealthy donors a disproportionate voice in our democracy and undermining the principle of one person, one vote.
@LesGillon
Presently, the source of inflation is not consumer demand or wages growth. It is the rise in energy prices and the excess profits, extorted by big business. So the answer is simple, tax the excess profits made by big business.
I believe that humanity is at a tipping point, as governments around the world have become increasingly influenced by the interests of wealthy individuals and corporations.
@carolvorders
Getting big money donors out of politics is essential to protect our democracy. It is time to take action and level the playing field for ordinary citizens.
@JolyonMaugham
BBC's decision to dismiss Lineker for speaking the truth is unjustifiable and speaks volumes about their values, as this is not a political matter but a fundamental issue of human empathy.
@carolvorders
@PeterStefanovi2
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Our system is a comedy of errors for the wealthy and a tragedy for everyone else. This is unacceptable.
@PeterStefanovi2
The "inadvertent" plea is a weak defence. It is not clear what it means to "inadvertently" break the rules. If Sunak was not aware of the rules, then he was negligent. If he was aware of the rules, then he was deliberately trying to mislead the public.
@EuropeanPowell
It’s like the Tories have a death wish, because that is the predictable outcome of their policies. The same applies Labour, if they dare perpetuate. In the end, we will have nothing to lose, they will have everything.
@carolvorders
The Tax Justice Network, estimates the UK loses £82 billion annually due to tax avoidance and evasion combined. This lost revenue could be used to fund important public services, such as schools, hospitals and infrastructure.
@newstart_2024
The urgency of breaking up and regulating global monopolies before they devastate the planet is a crucial conversation, not just a debate. We're not talking about abstract theories, but about the very future of our planet and the well-being of its inhabitants.
@brianmoore666
Johnson's refusal to hand over his phone to investigators is a clear sign that he has something to hide. The courts can still convict fraudsters even if they destroy evidence, so let's see what happens. He should be sent to hell for wasting everyone's time and money.
@BGatesIsaPyscho
God complexes throughout history have had devastating consequences. Leaders with inflated senses of self-importance have caused immense suffering. The needs of the many far outweigh the desires of a select few.
Tyranny and oppression. Fascism is a political ideology that emphasises nationalism, authoritarianism, and the suppression of individual freedoms and rights..
@UKdemocrat
Our system is devoid of any meaningful checks and balances, which means we have totalitarian system. A system which the people have never voted for, or agreed to.
@JolyonMaugham
MSM news are so corrupt, it beggars belief. The BBC more so, because defined by Royal Charter they are supposed to act in the public interest, serving all audiences through the provision of impartial, high-quality and distinctive output and services which inform, educate and
