#Dispatches. Just the facts. France has twice the hospital beds we have. Germany has three times. They both have the staff to cope. They both spend more on their health service than we do. It isn’t the method of funding, it’s the amount of spend. Don’t vote Tory.

@Shaughna_P When first introduced they were sold in as interest free loans. Then low interest. Then all of the loans were sold to credit companies despite the promise this would never happen. At no time has this drift from government interest free loans to privatised loans challenged.

Is anyone else deeply offended by the continual lying?. Stupid, arrogant and manipulative.
Left: Rishi Sunak, "We have reduced absolute poverty, pensioner poverty, child poverty". Right: BBC News, "Absolute poverty: UK sees biggest rise for 30 years". FT, "Nearly one in five pensioners live in poverty". FT, "Fastest rise in UK child poverty for 30 years"

@Sarf_London I am 66 in a few days time and I was taught the metric system in infant school. If you can’t learn what 500 grams means in 60 years your problem isn’t the metric system.

@NadineDorries Why did you suspend the triple lock? Why have you not solved the care crisis? Why didn’t you protect the care homes from Covid? .The BBC isn’t harming the elderly, you are.

@EssexPR Not as much, not as suddenly, and your pensions wouldn’t be at risk, our international reputation would be intact, borrowing would be lower, wages would be higher, inequality would be lower, we would have a well funded NHS, more police on the streets, and fewer poor and hungry kids.

@allisonpearson To react the way you are demanding means we change how we live. That is what they want. That way they win.

Palantir and the data they provide will be used to justify a fully privatised model of the NHS. Don’t be fooled, the decision was taken years ago, Palantir are just assembling the ‘evidence’ to support the decision.
An animated Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, wants in on the NHS. So much so, he is offering his product initially for ‘free’. If a large tech company offers you its services for free, you and your data are the product. Even your personal health data. #BBCLauraK

This is most likely a test case if it is not challenged and defeated expect a mass handover of public assets to companies this year before the election.
Michael Gove has transferred Middlesbrough assets from the elected Labour Middlesbrough Council. To an unelected Middlesbrough Development Council chosen by him. They will choose how Middlesbrough assets are plundered, and which Conservatives they sell them to.

@William09733378 It’s what you voted for. it really is. You are right, it wasn’t on the bus. The bus was full of lies. No point in getting angry, it’s far to late . Now you have to live with it. No it isn’t fair. But it IS what you voted for. So have a little think before you vote next time.

For historical context the Nazi Party reserved the use of meat hooks as a means of execution for those they deemed traitors. The hooks were inserted beneath the rib cage and the victim lifted into the air on the hook to struggle and die. @Nigel_Farage #FBPE.

@IsabelOakeshott 12 Years ago the NHS had the highest patient satisfaction rating in its history. Then the Tories happened.

The NHS is deliberately underfunded and understaffed . Germany has 8 hospital beds and 4.53 Doctors per 1000 people .France has 5.9 beds and 3.24 Doctors per 1000 people .UK has 2.5 Beds and 2.3 Doctors per 1000 people . Population Economies and demographics are comparable.
UK healthcare has a staffing crisis. Gvt instead of investing in training and attracting home grown healthcare staff through policies to ensure good wages and terms and conditions allows their colonialist theft from the world's poorest countries to fill the gaps . 1/4.

@GregHands Your government allows the dumping of raw sewage in our rivers. You have done nothing to stop this practice which was banned by EU law.

@olga_chyzh @fascinatorfun Nations that lose empires mourn for at least one generation. Britain is the same. After Brexit the older generation responsible for Brexit were talking about the return of the Empire. Sad and deluded and wrecking our future.

@Billbrowder This is appalling. Wake up people this is part of a coordinated attack on Europe’s democracy. It’s all linked and leads back to Putin.
