Currently, our railways don't have the capacity to carry the increase in passenger numbers that there would be if train tickets were much cheaper.

It’s unacceptable that HS2 is classed as an England-and-Wales project, just so the UK Government can avoid the ‘Barnett consequential’ of investing in the Welsh railway network. Better rail is needed on both sides of the border.
