Absolutely. Karen died of course and the tragedy of our family is that is the only reason we exist together. I struggle with that but all of us share in our hearts that Karen should be alive, these girls and Andy should not have lost her and all our paths would be different.

This takes me back. It was said there was a boy from Carnhill named Owen Da Gama Doherty, this may have been an urban myth.
Owen Da Gama was a South African footballer who joined

in 1985. He scored 50 goals in 79 appearances for the Club.
Da Gama won the First Division Title / Shield and was named the Player of the Year in 1985–86 and is still remembered as a Derry City legend today.

We walked under the Foyle Bridge this morning. I showed Laoina Camp Jack. A deeply spiritual place, so sad, like it holds the emotions of those we have lost to our river, those who mourn them, those who bring them home. Deeply moving. My heart was heavy but it's right we remember

I have been sad thinking of those closest to me that have died. My daddy, my bestest cous Ciaran, my wee babies lost through miscarriage, wee baby Charlene who I babysitted when I was a teenager. I have learned to allow sadness its time so that is what I am doing.
