After two years, 220 screens, and 120,000 lines of javascript, we're moving away from React Native at Airbnb. I tried to summarize our experience in a single blog post but that wouldn't do it justice so it turned into five!

Do any of my followers work or know somebody who works on Google photos? I can't share more than 1-2 albums per month without getting errors.

@jgebbia It looks like they extended a Trump-era act called PREP which helped speed up the development of the vaccines. Lots of details get lost in headlines, unfortunately.

@shreyas The latest gen civic is really solid. I never thought I'd recommend one but for your goals, it's hard to beat.

@felipecsl My intuition, not knowing the nitty gritty, is that it can out perform as long as BTC goes up but is vulnerable to go bankrupt if it goes down significantly. Is there a mechanism in which that isn't true? Sounds good to be true without that being the case.

Just released Lottie 6.6.0 with a bunch of nice goodies including a major improvement to shadow rendering thanks to David Davidović from @LottielabHQ! This was the biggest external contribution to lottie-android in its entire history!

@androiddevnotes Yup! For now, you can only modify the canvases by prompting in the chat window but we should be rolling out full editing soon. Just want to make sure it's in good shape before rolling it out. The model also only shows up on web (for now) but's just temporary, too.

@danielarpm You can have multiple canvases in a conversation but they are independent for now.
