All the dating advice about finding a wife in the hinterlands is based on the delusion that there is a huge reservoir of single wholesome women waiting for an anon to approach them. That’s not true. The best women of rural America either left for college and aren’t returning to their hometown, or married a local right after high school. What little is left is not worth an outsider pursuing. You can see this for yourself by stopping by at a rural McDonalds. These posts aren’t about offering serious advice to young guys. They’re about upholding the posters’ fantasies.
