@AlderSheenBean @Harvatin It's not hype. WEPOWER has been at the table since the beginning vying for some of this funding - they originally requested $100 million. Check out my backdrop picture It's me testifying against them.

So glad that WEPOWER is being called out as the special interest group that they are. They spend a lot of $$ on marketing to deceive people into thinking they're grassroots and for the people. We can never repeat the mistake of putting them in charge of public tax dollars- never
At City Hall, there is still a lot of passionate disagreement over how to spend the Rams settlement funds. Alderwoman Cara Spencer says influence from "special interests" like WePower (who back $34M in early childhood education funding) are "a big concern for me."

Why has The Opportunity Trust hired this guy to lead our city anywhere, who else are they funding to influence us? Why are news crews constantly following this guy around as if he is a credible source. So many questions❓️❓️
