Indiana’s infield will be quite firm, but the outfield will have more rotation, according to Jeff Mercer in today’s media. That will include Hogan Denny, Andrew Wiggins, Korbyn Dickerson, Joey Brenczewski and possibly others competing for outfield and DH spots. #iubase

In media, Mercer added: “Seebold can go out there and give us 5-6, question is can he go 5-6-7-8. So we may have to break games up.” He mentioned how they have more depth on the staff, but is yet to see if they have the front-line stuff that the Hoosiers saw last year. #iubase
As expected, it looks like it will be a put-it-together style rotation from Indiana Baseball in 2025. “We are not expecting 6-7-8 inning stars, but we’ve got 12-14 guys that can give you 6-15 outs at a time.” (Jeff Mercer) #iubase

Was awesome to get a chance to speak to @IUMediaSchool students today in both @TriciaWhitaker and @MikeWellsNFL classes today. Not surprising, but the students came prepared, didn’t look at their phones and you can tell how motivated and locked in they are. What @CrimsonCast has built in Bloomington is absolutely insane. To be able to get professors of the caliber of Tricia and Mike is really incredible. Such a huge advantage for these students as they enter the industry.
