To clarify on this, it’s cause with every passing year more people got into deathcore but not the things that influenced deathcore. So all these peoples reference points of the genre ended up being the genre itself, completely divorced from the original culture of it.
Remember Jason from Corpse Pile and Girl of Glass saying Deathcore got bad and stale because it became Deathcore fans making Deathcore and honestly I never realized how much that can apply to other subgenres literally look at 2000s revival Thrash

Obviously the people that pioneered the genre were fans of it, but they were hardcore kids, death metal dudes, grind heads. All the kids that followed were none of that and that’s where the genre fell.
A looooooooooooot of old niche rare music from the MySpace days currently lives on Internet Archive. Maybe in the grand scheme it’s a silly corner to care about, but the more we care collectively the better we can fight it from getting shut down.
PROTECT THE INTERNET ARCHIVE.
It's important because you'll be able to access stuff that you can't find on the internet anywhere else. It's good for research.
If we lose Internet Archive, it would be like losing the Library of Alexandria on the internet.
PASS IT ON.
