I have always believed showing empathy was one of the most important qualities as a leader I could possess.
We may not know the story of those we meet. We may not know all their joys or all their struggles. Recognizing this fact is the 1st step toward empathy. It is an important step toward elevating their humanity. It is the recognition that they do have a story... and it has value.
