@DrWendyRocks Sounds like you need a 5000 km subduction zone to rupture all at once? The whole Nazca subduction zone could do it, maybe? Meanwhile, a M10 strike-slip event would be the whole equator rupturing down to 50 km with 50 m of slip. Definitely don't have any of those!
