@plutus October 2024 Analytics Update Here’s a recap of October’s ecosystem trends: The total PLU staked increased from 4.98 million to 5.03 million, reflecting a steady 1.4% rise. The total number of stackers saw a slight decline, with 347 stackers departing, reducing the count from 15,315 to 14,968 — a 2.5% decrease. Despite this, the number of stackers holding at least 1,000 PLU grew significantly, from 1,098 to 1,146 (a 4.4% increase). This shift aligns with the delayed activation of lower reward tiers for holdings below 1,000 PLU, which currently limits incentives for smaller holders to stay within the ecosystem. In terms of stacker tiers, higher levels saw gains, with 40 new Chads, 19 new Veterans, and 2 new Legends joining in October, while 6 Heroes and 1 Myth exited. Overall, the ecosystem shows modest growth, but it’s clear we’re at a crossroads. The need for utilities is pressing, and @DDhopn has indicated that new utilities will roll out before the year’s end—something the ecosystem urgently awaits. Access the stats here:

Version 2.0 of the Community Spreadsheet Calculator has been released! Many thanks to @__nikipore__ for these changes: We've introduced a mechanism to properly account for the new utilities, such as Giftcards. 1) The fiat value of rewards required to earn 1 internal PLU credit is now tied to the market price. Starting mid-Q1/25, this will transition to an intrinsic value of €10. 2) The effective fiat value expected through the in-app cashout mechanisms (gift cards) is currently set at €7 (after 30% fee)

I totally respect you for your contributions @Koin53071699 There needs to be a balance between supporting the ecosystem and selling or redeeming tokens. Right now, we’re in a state of disarray, and we’re seeing the fallout from both sides. I hope things improve soon, with Plutus delivering the necessary utilities so there’s more to it than just selling PLU. People need to see the value in contributing to the ecosystem, as the system cannot survive if both sides don’t work together.

Certainly, if someone receives a payout (withdrawal) and subsequently sends the same or a lesser amount of PLU to any exchange after receiving it, this activity is tracked in this metric. The average is calculated on a daily basis, considering all previous days, to smooth out any spikes.
